It’s a tough prompt. I realize there’s a lot of obvious answers. But open your heart a bit, think about what’s going on in your life, and maybe there’s a way to answer this question in a surprising and meaningful way?

Hello, Mr. Deuel. I am not one of your current or former students, but I found your Substack by chance and have found it interesting and of quality. Seeing you and your students' work, I regret I cannot attend one of your courses.
